Lori M. Yocum

Yocum specializes in estate planning and probate and trust administration.  Ms. Yocum has over two decades of experience and is a founding member of Anderson & Yocum, APC, and was a partner at its predecessor firm, Hinchy, Witte, Wood & Anderson, LLP.  Her close ties to accountants, brokers, trust officers and other financial advisors allows Ms. Yocum to maximize estate planning services through collaboration with other professionals.

Ms. Yocum’s expertise includes the drafting of trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, and community property agreements; probating estates; administering trusts; and preparing estate tax returns.

Ms. Yocum earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from San Diego State University in 1986 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1990.

Ms. Yocum is admitted to practice law before the courts of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.  She is a member of the California Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section and the San Diego County Bar Association Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section.  Ms. Yocum chaired the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the Bar Association of Northern San Diego County (BANSDC).  She also chaired and taught “People’s Law School,” an Adult Education Service presented by BANSDC.  Her legal articles have been published in the North County Times column, “You and the Law.”
